Some of you may remember my mention on Instagram a while back of my lovely girlfriend purchasing me a pair of Vagabond Dioon sandals, and how I was totally and utterly over the moon about it. Vagabond shoes are something I'd wanted for ages, simply because I'd loved the style of them so much but could never afford. In fact, I wore a pair of Primark boots around all winter last year because they looked vaguely similar to a pair of Vagabonds I'd had my heart set on. They were only about £89, but that had always been way out of my price range.
Anyway, my darling bought me this charming pair of sandals and I wore them religiously for weeks. That is, until the sole split. I got in touch with Vagabond to see if there was anything they could do about it, as I'd only had them for about 6 weeks or so. They were absolute sweethearts and sent me a new pair. Then, about a month later, the new pair split as well. After getting back in touch with Vagabond, it transpires that a batch of the sandals had defective soles and it was a sheer case of bad luck that I'd received two faulty pairs.
Vagabond have gone above and beyond the call of duty and have now sent me a brand new pair of leather Dioon Boots. I was so, so impressed with their communication, the effort they made to rectify the problem and the speed in which they got my new shoes to me. A testament to the brand's values and yet another reason why I'm obsessed with Sweden and everything to do with it.
Special thanks to Ann-Louise, based in their offices in Sweden. I know you probably won't read this but you were so lovely and I hope you get well soon.
